Nice, even if I don’t think it would be useful for me to have so much space
What are people doing with so much space ?
phoenix April 28, 2008
Now we’re talking – those two laptops, each with an external screen, maybe with a little Synergy running on the two of them, I could definitely use that kind of space.
@Nis: Well, with dual monitors I tend to keep my web browsing and communications apps open in one window and my email and documents in another. Sometimes if I’m working from home I’ll have project plans open in one window and be terminal’d into the office in the other – it’s definitely good to have multiple displays.
With multiple computers I’d probably take that to the next level – one would essentially be a terminal to the office – maybe via VPN, and the other stays on my home network for local tasks and things.

@phoenix: Actually that’s exactly what this setup is
The laptop at the right is my work laptop for VPN access to Microsoft, and the one on the left is my personal laptop.
Oh yeh, Synergy rocks.

@phoenix: Okay
That’s a really nice desktop. I like the zen touch. I would like to have this kind of touch too, but I’m still loking for nice plants
